Detailing equipment
Most swirl marks are installed during the wash, not the polish. A grit guard keeps dirt on the bottom of the bucket, a mitt stays cleaner than a sponge, and a foam cannon lays soap on the paint so you are not dry-rubbing dust. A foam cannon needs a pressure washer. Compact electric washers are a common first machine; thicker foam usually wants decent water flow, so treat the cheapest washer as a starting point rather than a shop rig.
